He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SÉ SE reached it. In the 20th minute of the match Alfréd Nyilasi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ottó Szigeti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Norbert Rózsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Szigeti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Veress in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ottó Szigeti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfréd Nyilasi made a great header on SÉ SE's corner, it was just that Várdomb's Ottó Szigeti managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elemér Pálffy got free with Rómeó Kormos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Botond Bodor hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Norbert Veress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Szigeti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Norbert Veress made the kick off in the second half. When Pál Pulai fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SÉ SE's protests and gave Pál Pulai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Pulai to maneuver through the defense. Várdomb's Ottó Szigeti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Veress in the 54th minute of play. Norbert Veress who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ottó Szigeti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SÉ SE's Norbert Veress was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Álmos Gyulai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ottó Szigeti, 0-2. Ottó Szigeti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Veress, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Alfréd Nyilasi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Várdomb's Ottó Szigeti didn't even have to move. Norbert Veresss short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Ottó Szigeti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute, Elemér Pálffy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rómeó Kormos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The SÉ SE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
