Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferenc Pálosi started the match with the kick off. When Máté Medve came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máté Medve couldn't finish the play. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Károlyi in the 9th minute of the match. György Cseke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dénes Boross in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Szilárd Csikós got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukács Cseke in the 16th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Gusztáv Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zsolt Vörös had several of the Keszi Athletic's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed György Cseke as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Dénes Boross's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but György Cseke was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Szombathely Squirrels's György Cseke threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Szilárd Csikós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, Mátyás Ónodi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi. Gusztáv Jászberényi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferenc Pálosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusztáv Jászberényi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Árpád Kovács during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Keszi Athletic getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Árpád Kovács hit a great ball. Ferenc Jászberényi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Máté Medve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máté Medve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dénes Boross kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving György Cseke. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Dénes Boross came free, but György Cseke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dénes Boross in the 52nd minute of play forced Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper György Cseke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. György Cseke was left in no man's land by his defense there! György Cseke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dénes Boross in the 58th minute of the match. Lukács Cseke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gusztáv Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levente Hollósi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levente Hollósi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Keszi Athletic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Keszi Athletic:s György Cseke showed great skill when he stopped Dénes Boross:s penalty. Szombathely Squirrels were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Keszi Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferenc Jászberényi took the corner. 69 minutes into the game, Lajos Jakó was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathely Squirrels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keszi Athletic the free kick. The supporters of Keszi Athletic booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Jakó didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Máté Medve got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Szilárd Csikós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Dénes Boross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Cseke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. György Cseke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szilárd Csikós in the 86th minute of play. If Dénes Boross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gusztáv Győrffy hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurél Szűrös in the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ferenc Pálosi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gusztáv Jászberényi was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Keszi Athletic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
