PMFC 2018's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfréd Horváth during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alfréd Horváth hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Sporting Savaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balázs Kádár to maneuver through the defense. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Kis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfréd Horváth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rómeó Ambrus came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfréd Horváth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Kis in the 23rd minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balázs Józsa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Rómeó Ambrus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakab Szigethy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ede Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ákos Kecskés in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, Sporting Savaria's Félix Havas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rómeó Ambrus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Savaria reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jakab Szigethy made the kick off in the second half. Ervin Bertha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ede Horváth made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jónás Kondor got free with Ede Horváth in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Balázs Józsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's Jakab Szigethy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rómeó Ambrus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Jakab Szigethy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Jónás Kondor came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth got control of the ball when Balázs Józsa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ede Horváth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Alfréd Horváth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting Savaria succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though PMFC 2018 had controlled the match.
