Ferenc Magos started the match with the kick off. Máté Szalay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakab Szigethy, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Árpád Gulyás during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zalasárszeg OSE's Árpád Gulyás got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alfréd Horváth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ede Horváth made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when János Kárpáti sent off a good shot on target. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Péter Hegedűs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gergely Pataky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ede Horváth having to interfere. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ákos Savarino hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Péter Hegedűs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ede Horváth, 1-0. Balázs Kádár took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Máté Szalay. Zalasárszeg OSE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. István Benke kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Péter Hegedűs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ede Horváth having to make a save. Máté Szalay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakab Szigethy in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jakab Szigethy made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Magos in the 51st minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Zalasárszeg OSE's Ferenc Magos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ede Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ede Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Magos in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute Ferenc Magos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Sporting Savaria's Jakab Szigethy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Máté Szalay. Máté Szalay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Sporting Savaria were furious when Mihály Dobó was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Zalasárszeg OSE booed when Sporting Savaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihály Dobó didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Ferenc Magos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Savaria booed when Zalasárszeg OSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márton Cselényi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfréd Horváth charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfréd Horváth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfréd Horváth hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Ferenc Magos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferenc Magos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ede Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Péter Hegedűs in the 94th minute of the match. When Alfréd Horváth came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sporting Savaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfréd Horváth couldn't finish the play. Zalasárszeg OSE were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
