Oskar Minarik's late challenge caught a FC Kukova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Minarik helped the player get up and apologised. Oskar Minarik hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. FC Kukova's Marián Bečka couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ŠK Horelica. 15 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Klempa came free, but Tomáš Omasta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pavol Majer fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kukova's protests and gave Pavol Majer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Majer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Marián Bečka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Omasta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Bečka in the 22nd minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Tomáš Omasta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Pataj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Grman in the 23rd minute of play. Tomáš Omasta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Klempa went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vladislav Púčik's late challenge caught a FC Kukova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladislav Púčik helped the player get up and apologised. Vladislav Púčik hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, FC Kukova's Marián Bečka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomáš Omasta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Kukova reached it. Ján Ďurica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eugen Pataj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Eugen Pataj managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when ŠK Horelica's Stano Grman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Majer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Dávid Petrovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC Kukova were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stano Grman was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, FC Kukova's Peter Klempa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomáš Omasta. Tomáš Omasta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, Pavol Čerňanský was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kukova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Horelica the free kick. Pavol Čerňanský hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Klempa got free with Tomáš Omasta in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomáš Omasta came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kukova's Ján Kuric. But to his dismay, Ján Kuric quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Tomáš Omasta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Peter Klempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tomáš Omasta made a huge save. ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Peter Klempa 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. 94 minutes into the match, Marián Bečka notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of ŠK Horelica's Tomáš Omasta. Tomáš Omasta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ŠK Horelica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Peter Klempa scored to the left of an out of position Tomáš Omasta, making the score, 0-8. FC Kukova played a much better game than ŠK Horelica and deserved their victory. The ŠK Horelica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
