Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Tibor Barmoš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Vašek having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibor Barmoš in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Vašek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Michal Kráľ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Adamčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Csontos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marek Csontos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Henrich Vašek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Barmoš in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslav Matis during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Stinking Dogs booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Matis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Barmoš took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Vašek. Henrich Vašek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Henrich Vašek came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Tibor Barmoš. But to his dismay, Tibor Barmoš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tibor Barmoš struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Henrich Vašek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. When Pavol Badura came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Stinking Dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavol Badura couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Klement Dupal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The FC Stinking Dogs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFK Petržalka were winning 0-3.

Ján Dobay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Gabriel Vaško hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Adamčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Kráľ in the 65th minute of the match. Tibor Barmoš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Išták's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Ivan Adamčík - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 74th minute. Ivan Adamčík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Išták, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Adamčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Kráľ in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Vaško to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Matej Čulen. Ivan Adamčík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kráľ, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tibor Barmoš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrich Vašek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
