Miroslav Kavalec's late challenge caught a FC Lions Levice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bohuš Sakmár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukáš Sánchez in the 22nd minute of play. When Stano Sabovčík fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lions Levice's protests and gave Stano Sabovčík a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Lions Levice getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stano Sabovčík hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Lukáš Sánchez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bohuš Sakmár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodor Takáč showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stano Mariáš, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Pavol Pinka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC rossoneri SENICA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stano Mariáš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lukáš Sánchez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Bohuš Sakmár when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 52 minutes into the game, Marek Pištek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC rossoneri SENICA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lions Levice the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, FC rossoneri SENICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Pištek to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Pavol Pinka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bohuš Sakmár. The goal made the score 1-4. Stano Mariáš kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. FC Lions Levice's Bohuš Sakmár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Kavalec in the 65th minute of play. FC Lions Levice's Bohuš Sakmár proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lions Levice from getting a goal against them. 1-5 became the score in the 68th minute when Miroslav Kavalec elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Lions Levice's Bohuš Sakmár got control of the ball when Lukáš Sánchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukáš Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bohuš Sakmár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kavalec in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Emil Marenčin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lions Levice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC rossoneri SENICA the free kick. In the 88th match minute, FC Lions Levice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Marenčin to maneuver through the defense. Miroslav Kavalec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bohuš Sakmár made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded FC rossoneri SENICA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Lions Levice.
