Büyükçekmece FC.'s kaya Uçbay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Büyükçekmece FC. from getting a goal against them. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Ilgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semi İnanoğlu in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Büyükçekmece FC. booed when Navigators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfü Acunman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Navigators got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Adal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volkan Honazlı in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yavuz Bülent Ilgın saved Navigators from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Navigators's goal looked a bit too open when Semi İnanoğlu came free, but Yavuz Bülent Ilgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuz Bülent Ilgın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkan Honazlı in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Büyükçekmece FC. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aydın Timuroz hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Navigators made a substitution. Osman Ali Rıza replaced Mehmet Halis Işıklı. In the 57th minute, one of Navigators:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Navigators. After a rather tough play, Navigators's Burhanettin Haseki got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Kuzey Uz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Navigators getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rıfat Tümkan hit a great ball. If Uğurcan Numan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alkan Başaydın came free, but kaya Uçbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Volkan Honazlı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Büyükçekmece FC. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
