When Mustafa Numan Vural fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASLANAS's protests and gave Mustafa Numan Vural a yellow card for diving instead. Emin Olgunsus short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Namık Kemal Refettin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emin Olgunsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Namık Kemal Refettin made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Tanju Ergener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halil İbrahim Balatürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muharrem Altuner's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Muharrem Altuner managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASLANAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Muharrem Altuner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halil İbrahim Balatürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ASLANAS's Namık Kemal Refettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save ASLANAS from getting a goal against them. Namık Kemal Refettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yüksel Başol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Akay Saadettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Numan Vural stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Namık Kemal Refettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emin Olgunsu in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to ErbaA KartaLı getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tanju Ergener hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Halil İbrahim Balatürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Numan Vural. Yüksel Başol got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Emin Olgunsu sped through ASLANAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Namık Kemal Refettin. Emin Olgunsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Namık Kemal Refettin having to make a save.
