An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Selimhan Yaren in the 3rd minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Ahmet İlhan Kırman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Azmi Vedat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave H E P T A N the free kick. In the 4th match minute, 1903 Barranspor ☪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azmi Vedat to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Volkan Mürşit got a free kick in the 5th minute. 14 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Tansu Zafir came free, but Halil Pekinturk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Pekinturk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efe Aktaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Halil Pekinturk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Enes Perkin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Pekinturk. Halil Pekinturk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. H E P T A N's Tansu Zafir got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efe Aktaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Halil Pekinturk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Enes Perkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Halil Pekinturk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Efe Aktaş came free, but Halil Pekinturk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Azmi Vedat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet İlhan Kırman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tansu Zafir to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Volkan Mürşit got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Kamuran Refah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Halil Pekinturk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efe Aktaş in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match, Yavuz Selimhan Yaren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet İlhan Kırman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Efe Aktaş struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Halil Pekinturk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for H E P T A N. 64 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Enes Perkin came free, but Halil Pekinturk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tansu Zafir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tansu Zafir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Halil Pekinturk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Enes Perkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil Pekinturk. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enes Perkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the 1903 Barranspor ☪ defense, Efe Aktaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil Pekinturk. The 1903 Barranspor ☪ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Pekinturk should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Doğa Cambaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet İlhan Kırman. H E P T A N's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doğa Cambaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Halil Pekinturk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enes Perkin in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Enes Perkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Halil Pekinturk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. H E P T A N were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
