Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Sadun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AVTK defense, Timur Sadun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu. The AVTK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu should have stopped the shot. If Akşemseddin Ortaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AVTK's Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Sadun in the 11th minute of play. Gencalp Hekim charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencalp Hekim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gencalp Hekim hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Carno FK's Lefter Özakın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Ensar Önder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu. AVTK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ensar Önder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gencalp Hekim to strike the kick off in the second half. Akşemseddin Ortaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Carno FK's Lefter Özakın made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, AVTK's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Başesgioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timur Sadun. Burhan Refik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carno FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
