Saffet Şükrü hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Maden FC's Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktan Çakmur in the 8th minute of play. Akşemseddin Ortaç's late challenge caught a Maden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akşemseddin Ortaç helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Akşemseddin Ortaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Bilge Kağan Dersu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Süleyman Sebukalp. Bilge Kağan Dersu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Maden FC booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güvenç Aksel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Akşemseddin Ortaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. İlkan Yalım's late challenge caught a Maden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlkan Yalım helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlkan Yalım to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes, Saffet Şükrü mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carno FK and the Maden FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maden FC booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saffet Şükrü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedirhan Efe charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedirhan Efe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Maden FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bedirhan Efe hit a great ball. Aktan Çakmur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Sacit Ergenç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carno FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maden FC the free kick. A collision led to Carno FK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aktan Çakmur hit a great ball. Feyyaz Karaman charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feyyaz Karaman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aktan Çakmur, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Maden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aktan Çakmur came free, but Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akşemseddin Ortaç to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maden FC's Bilge Kağan Dersu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi Vacip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Kutsi Vacip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aktan Çakmur came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Carno FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aktan Çakmur couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by İlkan Yalım got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Akşemseddin Ortaç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Akşemseddin Ortaç really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Maden FC's Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Maden FC from getting a goal against them. Carno FK were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Maden FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aktan Çakmur took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aktan Çakmur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mümtazer Balkanlıoğlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the game, Ahmet Kutsi Vacip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carno FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
