Aşkın Hilal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 22 minutes, Anıl Arda Tanaydin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adana Sk and the Laboon SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Laboon SK booed when Adana Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice moves Ümit Başaydın could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Aşkın Hilal however easily saved by the left post. Kurtuluş Özyuva scored 4-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aşkın Hilal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adana Sk's Duran Kıvılcım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezgin Sadri in the 36th minute of play. During the 36th minute of the match Anıl Arda Tanaydin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anıl Arda Tanaydin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Adana Sk getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anıl Arda Tanaydin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sezgin Sadri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laboon SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sezgin Sadri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duran Kıvılcım breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Adana Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Başaydın to maneuver through the defense. Laboon SK's Aşkın Hilal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Laboon SK from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Adana Sk's Kurtuluş Özyuva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 61 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtuluş Özyuva came free, but Aşkın Hilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adana Sk's Duran Kıvılcım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezgin Sadri in the 63rd minute of play. Duran Kıvılcım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sezgin Sadri in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Adana Sk's Ümit Başaydın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aşkın Hilal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Ali Sayıl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aşkın Hilal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Başaydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Sezgin Sadri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duran Kıvılcım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Laboon SK defense, Kurtuluş Özyuva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aşkın Hilal. The Laboon SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aşkın Hilal should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Ongul in the 96th minute of play forced Adana Sk's goalkeeper Duran Kıvılcım to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laboon SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
