Sümer Akbaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kuddusî Rüştü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezgin Sadri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sezgin Sadri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç made a huge save. After 21 minutes of play, Laboon SK's Sezgin Sadri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the game, MALATYASPOR's Sümer Akbaba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kuddusî Rüştü made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Laboon SK booed when MALATYASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hazar Hayırlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. MALATYASPOR's Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezgin Sadri in the 31st minute of play. Kasım Uygar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Sezgin Sadri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezgin Sadri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç having to interfere. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Kuddusî Rüştü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasım Uygar in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sümer Akbaba made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Aydemir Tuyuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Sezgin Sadri sped through MALATYASPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç. Furkan Veziroğlu's late challenge caught a Laboon SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Furkan Veziroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Laboon SK. Sezgin Sadri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç. 5-1. Sezgin Sadri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. After 89 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Kuzey Ula. When Baysal Uskan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laboon SK's protests and gave Baysal Uskan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Sezgin Sadri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laboon SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Laboon SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
