The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ekber Baştürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orhan Veli Maksut's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 25th minute, Nurkan Ereken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ekber Baştürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağlar Ulağ in the 34th minute of the match. Hadi Felek hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gökberk Beytekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ekber Baştürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Ozan Vefi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökberk Beytekin to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ozan Vefi sped through Kültepe Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. D.e.s.n.a's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Gökberk Beytekin scored to the left of an out of position Ekber Baştürk, making the score, 3-1. A collision led to D.e.s.n.a getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hadi Felek hit a great ball. Doğa Ustam struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ekber Baştürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kültepe Spor Kulübü. After having played for 63 minutes, Cevat Mansur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevat Mansur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Ozan Vefi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Alp Gence who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but D.e.s.n.a's Ekber Baştürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Lefter Hasankeyf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D.e.s.n.a's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kültepe Spor Kulübü the free kick. 73 minutes into the match, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Vefi came free, but Rüknettin Demirbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
