Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Tanacan in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Cumhur Tanacan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabien Barthez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kenny Duckworth kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Brendon Bale hit a great ball. Jasper Delamore took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lee Kerr. Lee Kerr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Des Wicks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Des Wicks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Wicks in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Brendon Bale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Paijo Prima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clapham Comets F.C. and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lee Kerr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cumhur Tanacan took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Paijo Prima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Cumhur Tanacan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Barthez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Groom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Lee Kerr made a huge save. If Brendon Bale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Clapham Comets F.C. were awarded a corner. Cumhur Tanacan went to the cornerflag to take it. Cumhur Tanacan made a great header on Clapham Comets F.C.'s corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonny Wilkinson tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Fabien Barthez. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-4 in the 77th minute. When Cumhur Tanacan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Clapham Comets F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cumhur Tanacan couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Brookman came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Barone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Cumhur Tanacan sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fabien Barthez showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Brendon Bale got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cumhur Tanacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Barthez having to interfere. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paijo Prima in the 89th minute of play. Clapham Comets F.C. were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Egg Chasers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cumhur Tanacan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cumhur Tanacan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Barthez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 93 minutes into the match, Cumhur Tanacan notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Egg Chasers FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
