After 4 minutes, Todd Griffiths mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the The Engineers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Todd Griffiths hit a great ball. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Little in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Pitta in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennie Rusby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cliff Welch fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Engineers's protests and gave Cliff Welch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Cliff Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kieran Floyd was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saverio Ribeiro. Todd Griffiths could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Kieran Floyd made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pitta came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save The Engineers from getting a goal against them. Todd Griffiths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Floyd having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 25th minute of play forced The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Peng Liang to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Brandon Wright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Todd Griffiths notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Engineers's Kieran Floyd. Kieran Floyd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Todd Griffiths made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Pedro Luiz de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieran Floyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Wright in the 51st minute of play forced The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes The Engineers got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü Celvet. Kieran Floyd came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luiz de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kieran Floyd was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Pedro Luiz de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Engineers's Evaristo Shantala got a free kick in the 64th minute. Saverio Ribeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kieran Floyd. The Engineers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when The Engineers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Celvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zühtü Celvet kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Zühtü Celvet hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Brandon Wright sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kieran Floyd skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Todd Connery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Ribeiro in the 79th minute of play forced The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Bartochowski in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Heavenly Hooters had won after a very even match.
