The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Nelthorpe during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hilsea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isaac Evangelista was slow to take the kick. During this time Beech United's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute Rory Downham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Fabrício Cordeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of John England. The goal made the score 2-0. Nurkan Semdin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Hilsea were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Beech United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenny Dobson took the corner. Christopher Gray made a great header on Hilsea's corner, it was just that Beech United's Emanuele Zoff managed to reach the ball for a save. Orson Gamble made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kenny Dobson however managed to control. Emanuele Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristram Fuller in the 33rd minute of play. Fabrício Cordeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, John England skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Fabrício Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Nurkan Semdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John England having to make a save. With a little luck, Hilsea's John England got control of the ball when Fabrício Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tristram Fuller made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Fabrício Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beech United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John England breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orson Gamble got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kenny Dobson. John England didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Cordeiro went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Orson Gamble. Beech United's Marquinhos Sabóia was substituted for Nurkan Semdin. In the 67th match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orson Gamble to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes in the game Orson Gamble did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kenny Dobson. John England showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Cordeiro in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hilsea defense, Fabrício Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John England. The Hilsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John England should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hilsea's Orson Gamble got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fabrício Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Fabrício Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hilsea's John England was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrício Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John England. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Bednarek hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Fabrício Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. John England was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Beech United had won after a very even match.
