Máximo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Houghton in the 15th minute of play. Máximo Azeredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jake Marriott's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Coburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gez Eyre. Sofoklis Prinianakis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when White Eagles FC's Gez Eyre shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 32 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Houghton came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Carl Houghton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, White Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Cartwright to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Ottaway to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gez Eyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matty Robson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the White Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matty Robson couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Kristian Ottaway dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Máximo Azeredo, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Henley on Thames United's zone, Andy Coburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofoklis Prinianakis came out of the goal and Andy Coburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henley on Thames United made a substitution. João Vítor Donato replaced Grant Sherwood. Máximo Azeredo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames United's Carl Houghton. But to his dismay, Carl Houghton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jake Marriott got free with Máximo Azeredo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xanti Lastras hit a great ball. Henley on Thames United's Huey Claydon was substituted for Joe Wright. Xanti Lastras hit a great ball. 90 minutes in the game Mitch Creighton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to João Vítor Donato. 92 minutes into the match, Andy Coburn notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis. Sofoklis Prinianakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Henley on Thames United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Henley on Thames United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
