Rio Fuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Máximo Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Fuller in the 11th minute of play forced White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when Parma Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Dingle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrie Golding lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for White Eagles FC! Andy Coburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Makarewicz having to interfere. Máximo Azeredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes White Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Jake Conway. After some careless play in the White Eagles FC defense, Rio Fuller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Azeredo. The White Eagles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Azeredo should have stopped the shot. Jake Conway charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Conway the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, White Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Conway to maneuver through the defense. Máximo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Gordon in the 46th minute of play. The White Eagles FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parma Wanderers were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cliff Gordon to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes White Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Richardson. After having played for 56 minutes, Gez Eyre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gez Eyre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Andy Coburn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pawel Makarewicz. Parma Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Coburn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gez Eyre hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cliff Gordon got free with Máximo Azeredo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Eyre in the 66th minute of play forced Parma Wanderers's goalkeeper Pawel Makarewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parma Wanderers's Russ Hunter was substituted for Cliff Gordon. Parma Wanderers made a substitution. George Munroe replaced Kirk Perkins. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Fuller in the 83rd minute of the match. Russ Hunter scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Azeredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Parma Wanderers's zone, Gez Eyre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Makarewicz came out of the goal and Gez Eyre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Parma Wanderers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
