Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cacá Mangione started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Mangione in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Melani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th match minute, Goo Goo Dolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Dragnea to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Vlastaras came free, but Benjamin Cuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vlastaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Goo Goo Dolls were awarded a corner. Olimpiu Dragnea went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Goo Goo Dolls's corner Olimpiu Dragnea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Melani quite easily take care of the ball. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Scorfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Charis Vlastaras took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benjamin Cuss to make any attempt to save it. Charis Vlastaras hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charis Vlastaras was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Waclaw Kaczanek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitypool United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Kaczanek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Benjamin Cuss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Whitypool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Sutcliffe to maneuver through the defense. Olimpiu Dragnea struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Angelo Melani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goo Goo Dolls. Cacá Mangione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Angelo Melani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Whitypool United made a substitution. Nicholas Downham replaced Rodney Scorfield. In the 67th minute, Waclaw Kaczanek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Melani having to interfere. Whitypool United's Stevie Moore was substituted for Syd Ely. After 73 played minutes Goo Goo Dolls got a freekick which was hit by Felix Lane. Charis Vlastaras struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Benjamin Cuss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitypool United. If Cacá Mangione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olimpiu Dragnea hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Barkley in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Whitypool United's Fraser Barkley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Cuss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Angelo Melani made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cacá Mangione sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Cuss came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Whitypool United's Fraser Barkley. But to his dismay, Fraser Barkley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Whitypool United were victorious despite being under pressure from Goo Goo Dolls for much of the match.
