Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Justin Collingwood made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Collingwood came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Justin Collingwood put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Grant Blacknell. Nikolay Bonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükür Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Rhodes came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Dyson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Plučinský to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Freeman came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fitz Lambley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Blacknell having to interfere. In the 29th minute Justin Collingwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jasper Attwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garlic Eaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Attwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Blacknell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Collingwood in the 35th minute of play. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Attwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Fitz Lambley. But to his dismay, Fitz Lambley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Şükür Hagi's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şükür Hagi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şükür Hagi to maneuver through the defense. Şükür Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Nikolay Bonkov made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şükür Hagi was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mike Wadham scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolay Bonkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Hanley, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şükür Hagi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolay Bonkov saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Jasper Attwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Wadham in the 72nd minute of play. Michal Budzyn hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell got control of the ball when Pavol Stano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Attwood in the 82nd minute of the match. Tod Freeman charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Freeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Tod Freeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Camron Rhodes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolay Bonkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Tommy Hanley fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave Tommy Hanley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Tommy Hanley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükür Hagi in the 91st minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
