An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Attwood in the 18th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 19th minute of play. Eugen Remus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Attwood in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Hanley in the 24th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justin Collingwood got free with Eugen Remus in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Greenbay's zone, Jasper Attwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Remus came out of the goal and Jasper Attwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugen Remus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fitz Lambley in the 27th minute. Greenbay's Eugen Remus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Özil in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Collingwood. In the 39th minute Mesut Özil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Almiron came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Collingwood was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasper Attwood's late challenge caught a Greenbay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Attwood helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Attwood. In the 62nd minute Fitz Lambley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Collingwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugen Remus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justin Collingwood ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute of the match, Miguel Almiron tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikolay Bonkov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 72 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Almiron came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolay Bonkov saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. Tommy Hanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Greenbay's zone, Justin Collingwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Remus came out of the goal and Justin Collingwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Attwood in the 84th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolay Bonkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Almiron went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Greenbay's Eugen Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Collingwood in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ashley Ross got free with Nikolay Bonkov in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pau Torres's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pau Torres helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Pau Torres got a free kick in the 96th minute.
