Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Rhodes in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Leicester Lions got a corner. Ampthill FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michal Budzyn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jack Sharp lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jack Sharp hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Townsley in the 30th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Wadham kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Lions from getting a goal against them. Camron Rhodes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell got control of the ball when Calvin Townsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Wadham kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Townsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Rhodes in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tod Freeman in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Potts. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Potts made a kick off. Orhan Ortanca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Townsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Townsley in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Camron Rhodes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tod Freeman might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Abeijon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tod Freeman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Zack Alderson replaced Jack Potts. In the 80th minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod Freeman in the 82nd minute of the match. Gez Little got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gez Little kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Mike Wadham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Townsley in the 87th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Zack Alderson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leicester Lions had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
