Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Tim Hurren made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ampthill FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Kyulafliyski was slow to take the kick. During this time Witney City's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Igor Kyulafliyski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Abeijon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Speed in the 9th minute of play. Witney City's Jerome Canning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Townsley in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 13th minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Gez Little made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Canning. Witney City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jerome Canning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Townsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bernardo Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rio Best went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tim Hurren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ampthill FC's zone, Tim Hurren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Abeijon came out of the goal and Tim Hurren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Witney City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Hurren to maneuver through the defense. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Abeijon was a little too slow when Charles Bolton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-2. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ampthill FC! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calvin Townsley to make the kick off. Jerome Canning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Potts in the 51st minute. Tim Hurren kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jerome Canning was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Orhan Ortanca. Jerome Canning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Potts in the 57th minute. After 58th play minutes Calvin Townsley shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Jerome Canning and just under the crossbar into goal. 60 minutes into the match, Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Potts. In the 62nd match minute, Ampthill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Speed to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Orhan Ortanca got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Hurren came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Hurren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bernardo Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witney City's Andre Nethercott quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Russ Blacknell, made in the 73rd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Gez Little's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerome Canning was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Zack Alderson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerome Canning. The goal made the score 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Hurren in the 82nd minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Calvin Townsley lined in a short shot 3-6 behind a frustrated Jerome Canning. In the 86th minute Gez Little shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Canning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gez Little charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gez Little the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Witney City's Jerome Canning got control of the ball when Zack Alderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Tim Hurren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Witney City's Jerome Canning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Witney City from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Speed kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerome Canning. That made the score 3-7 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ampthill FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
