Ged Nightingale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idacio Ballejos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Oliver in the 9th minute of the match. Larry Ferrell came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Deacon could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Idacio Ballejos in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ged Nightingale saved Arrows Academy FC from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Idacio Ballejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes Arrows Academy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evelio Goren who took care of the corner kick. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Nightingale having to interfere. Pacho Quintianan made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by David Stenkvist. The supporters of Mayo booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marty Simpson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marty Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Idacio Ballejos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 52nd minute of the match. The Arrows Academy FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Arrows Academy FC's Larry Ferrell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Ferrell in the 60th minute of play. Marcus Deacon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Piechna went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 67 minutes in the game Pacho Quintianan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marty Simpson. In the 72nd minute Idacio Ballejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Oliver's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Ged Nightingale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mayo's William Symons was substituted for Evelio Goren. Mayo made a substitution. Patrick Robins replaced Will Porter. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Ferrell in the 91st minute of play. Pacho Quintianan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Quintianan to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes, Nathanial Pitts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mayo and the Arrows Academy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nathanial Pitts hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arrows Academy FC had won after a very even match.
