The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Percival kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wei Bing Ran. That made the score 2-1 in the 12 minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético de Newell booed when Real Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dustin Schellander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético de Newell. Hugo Alexandersen struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Wei Bing Ran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético de Newell. Real Chelsea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
