Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Idacio Ballejos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind T H F C's goalkeeper Luke Bush, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Orson Billington hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Romulo Loiola got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Mayo booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orson Billington didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Idacio Ballejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Bush had great luck who in the 16thth minute grab hold of the ball when Idacio Ballejos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Midgley in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Deacon saved Mayo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Inman in the 24th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Gillow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Idacio Ballejos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luke Bush was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute of the match Mayo got a corner. T H F C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evelio Goren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luke Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan Sugden came free, but Marcus Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Luke Bush managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Mayo's Idacio Ballejos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luke Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 47th minute of play. T H F C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Idacio Ballejos 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. T H F C's Shawn Coulson was substituted for Donny Beckwith. T H F C made a substitution. Kristopher Cavanagh replaced Dave Hartley. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franz Midgley was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Franz Midgley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Friend to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mayo's Marcus Deacon got control of the ball when Franz Midgley tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Luke Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. T H F C's Rowan Tyler was substituted for Matt Friend. In the 72nd minute, Romulo Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Orson Billington got a free kick in the 74th minute. Mayo's Patrick Robins was substituted for Will Porter. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Idacio Ballejos in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Bush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by T H F C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnnie Osbourn was slow to take the kick. During this time Mayo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Johnnie Osbourn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luke Bush quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Ronan Sugden got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Ronan Sugden. Steve Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Steve Oliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Franz Midgley kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Mayo's Steve Oliver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luke Bush made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. T H F C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
