Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Piarres in the 3rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Camilo Ferrara sped through Juventus Telford's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Rulli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Piarres got free with Zhao Ran Ming in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Ildefonso Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Ran Ming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Moyle in the 21st minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Carter Rulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, John Moyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Moyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Rulli having to interfere. Carter Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ferrara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cälal Elxanov. After the first half Coventry Wasps were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Ferrara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carter Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Moyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stuart Bayne kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Juventus Telford's Carter Rulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Telford from getting a goal against them. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cälal Elxanov in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Juventus Telford booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelius Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Coventry Wasps were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Juventus Telford side.
