The audience thought a goal was coming when Boruc Spychalski got free with Marcial Cisquella in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Juventus Telford's Marcial Cisquella threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wlodzimierz Zyskowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Alistair Cross got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Boruc Spychalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Cisquella was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
