The goal made the score 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ferrara came free, but Gary Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goalkeeper Gary Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Moyle. Gary Kelly made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sigmar Gustafson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Fidele in the 33rd minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Sheng Yang in the 40th minute of play. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Farmer in the 42nd minute of the match. Pete Munroe hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With 45 minutes on the clock, Sam-Lucas Neirynck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam-Lucas Neirynck to maneuver through the defense.

Harchester United's Konstanty Domalik was substituted for Fan Sheng Yang. In the 53rd minute of the match, Samuel Farmer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zhao Ran Ming saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Harchester United's Quentin Fawcett was substituted for Randall Burton. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Mark Booth replaced Cheslav Veselov. Coventry Wasps's Zack Doughty was substituted for John Moyle. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Farmer in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhao Ran Ming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zhao Ran Ming made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Konstanty Domalik sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Harchester United booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Munroe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harchester United's Robin Crouch was substituted for Rosero Rioja. In the 81st minute, Pete Munroe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhao Ran Ming was a little too slow when Konstanty Domalik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-1. Quentin Fawcett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Zhao Ran Ming made a huge save. With a little luck, Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming got control of the ball when Konstanty Domalik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harchester United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danny Farmer in the 97th minute. A nice corner shot did that Danny Farmer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zhao Ran Ming quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
