The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dimitris Vasilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Leontiadis in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's Sabit Piruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trifillia.FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Orixe in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Leontiadis came free, but Dimitris Vasilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabit Piruz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Vale. Erik Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dimitris Vasilakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themos Leontiadis's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Radoslaw Penc made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Soulis Vakros immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themos Leontiadis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Vasilakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panionios MK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Dimitris Vasilakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themos Leontiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Trifillia.FC got a corner. Panionios MK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Orixe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erik Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabit Piruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dimitris Vasilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Leontiadis in the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Sabit Piruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Panionios MK defense, Sabit Piruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Vale. The Panionios MK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Vale should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Vasilakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Themos Leontiadis. Panionios MK's Antonis Linardakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radoslaw Penc in the 72 minute of the game. Tilemachos Ntentas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Edmundo Nóbrega threw the ball into play from the sideline. Trifillia.FC's Waldir Laguna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sabit Piruz scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabit Piruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Christos Bekos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trifillia.FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trifillia.FC had won after a very even match.
