AEK S.C's Gao Fan Sheng quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabit Piruz in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Trifillia.FC got a corner. AEK S.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Orixe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Orixe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thanasis Koltsidas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dimitris Vasilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelte Bleiswijk in the 18th minute of the match. If Kostas Proestos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donzel Goyeneta in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dimitris Vasilakos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the last second Dimitris Vasilakos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jelte Bleiswijk in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The corner ended in Arturo Orixe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas did a great save. Sabit Piruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabit Piruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabit Piruz in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabit Piruz made a kick off. Dimitris Vasilakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jelte Bleiswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. AEK S.C's Gao Fan Sheng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Orixe in the 54 minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Jelte Bleiswijk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEK S.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trifillia.FC the free kick. Trifillia.FC's Aggelos Stamatis was substituted for Theo Light. In the 56th minute, one of AEK S.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AEK S.C. Trifillia.FC's Dimitris Vasilakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Goyeneta in the 61st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Donzel Goyeneta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Bekos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Vasilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelte Bleiswijk in the 91st minute of the match. Donzel Goyeneta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabit Piruz in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Koltsidas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 minutes of play, Trifillia.FC's Sabit Piruz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanasis Koltsidas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
