The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Paschalis Kastanoulis with Tasos Poulikakos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Paschalis Kastanoulis got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fu Lin Liang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Fu Lin Liang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Erik Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Krovina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Labriakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themos Leontiadis in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Fu Lin Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Themos Leontiadis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Iosif Labriakos to make any attempt to save it. After 85 played minutes TZITZIFIES got a freekick which was hit by Jann Aasa. Iosif Labriakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Leontiadis in the 90th minute of the match. Paschalis Kastanoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paschalis Kastanoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes TZITZIFIES got a freekick which was hit by Paschalis Kastanoulis. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Ahmid Gernez got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panionios MK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
