Özen Baroğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Robos in the 17th minute of play. When Vlassis Bourekidis fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YELLOW FC's protests and gave Vlassis Bourekidis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of O.T.E booed when YELLOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlassis Bourekidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's Thanasis Robos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier García narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 31st minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Javier García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Avraam Sevastopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier García was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Olof Kämpe to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier García was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Vlassis Bourekidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vlassis Bourekidis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 55th minute of the match Paul Grosso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier García showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan-Olof Kämpe came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Javier García could save by the left post. After 61 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Nontas Ntalakouras. Javier García was a little too slow when Jan-Olof Kämpe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 70th minute, Ermis Panakakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaggelis Lalas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some careless play in the O.T.E defense, Jan-Olof Kämpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier García. The O.T.E fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier García should have stopped the shot. Eutichios Panagakos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Javier García skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 84 minutes into the game, Eutichios Panagakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YELLOW FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave O.T.E the free kick. Eutichios Panagakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier García having to interfere. If Fabian Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eutichios Panagakos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Robos. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched YELLOW FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
