The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Olcay Bozkurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stamatis Ifantis was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. If Evelio Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes ERGOTELIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demis Grigoriadis who took care of the corner kick. Stamatis Ifantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Stamatis Ifantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olcay Bozkurt's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Olcay Bozkurt took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stamatis Ifantis. Stamatis Ifantis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute of the match, Babbis Kourentas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandros Iordanidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zhao Xun Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Ifantis having to interfere. Stamatis Ifantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gregory in the 34th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Alexandros Iordanidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Günalp Parskan hit a great ball. Demis Grigoriadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stamatis Ifantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olcay Bozkurt's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Demis Grigoriadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panagiotis Agapakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Alexandros Iordanidis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

ERGOTELIS made a substitution. Sakis Sanidomenos replaced Thodoris Kefaloukos. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Babbis Kourentas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olcay Bozkurt in the 52nd minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, RO Army V55's Olcay Bozkurt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stamatis Ifantis. Stamatis Ifantis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 70 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Günalp Parskan. After a rather tough play, ERGOTELIS's Günalp Parskan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis got control of the ball when Edgardo Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ERGOTELIS booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Domalik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Edgardo Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Ifantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's Zhao Xun Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stamatis Ifantis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Zhao Xun Jun rounded ERGOTELIS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Stamatis Ifantis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Ugutz in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Ugutz came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Ugutz got free with Stamatis Ifantis in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, RO Army V55's Vinícius Junior ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stamatis Ifantis. Stamatis Ifantis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When the final whistle sounded RO Army V55 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ERGOTELIS.
