In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Evelio Gregory sped through Toutourouki f.c.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. With a little luck, Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos got control of the ball when Panagiotis Agapakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panagiotis Agapakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Tolis Mantouvalos made a huge save. Tolis Mantouvalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panagiotis Agapakis in the 13th minute. Panagiotis Agapakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tolis Mantouvalos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Babbis Kourentas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tolis Mantouvalos made a huge save. With a little luck, Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos got control of the ball when Babbis Kourentas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Agapakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. Toutourouki f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panagiotis Agapakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Panagiotis Agapakis took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tolis Mantouvalos to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos got control of the ball when Panagiotis Agapakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Babbis Kourentas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute ERGOTELIS were awarded a corner. Panagiotis Agapakis went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Kourentas got free with Tolis Mantouvalos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Giorgos Kazatzidis fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toutourouki f.c.'s protests and gave Giorgos Kazatzidis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Toutourouki f.c. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Giorgos Kazatzidis hit a great ball. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gregory came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panagiotis Agapakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tolis Mantouvalos made a huge save. Tolis Mantouvalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panagiotis Agapakis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Kourentas came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Günalp Parskan took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tolis Mantouvalos to make any attempt to save it. Evelio Gregory took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolis Mantouvalos. Tolis Mantouvalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Kourentas was the one to do the kick off. Stamatis Ifantis had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ulises Domeka from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gregory in the 56th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Babbis Kourentas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Babbis Kourentas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ERGOTELIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gregory in the 67th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Babbis Kourentas made a precise shot to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. Toutourouki f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. ERGOTELIS's Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis was substituted for Evelio Gregory. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Kourentas in the 73rd minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Kourentas in the 79th minute of play. Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ERGOTELIS fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when ERGOTELIS's Babbis Kourentas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günalp Parskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Panagiotis Agapakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolis Mantouvalos skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ERGOTELIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the ERGOTELIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
