Francis Murtopo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necat Baysal, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Necat Baysal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Murtopo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Kissas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odysseas Thomakos in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Pap FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Melas came free, but Francis Murtopo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emrah Alatay made a great header on Lipochσrion FC's corner, it was just that Pap FC's Francis Murtopo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanos Agapoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francis Murtopo having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Fotis Melas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francis Murtopo was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fotis Melas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Murtopo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Necat Baysal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Murtopo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Kalakos in the 28th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Kalakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Kyriakos Kalakos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Panagiotis Kissas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Necat Baysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute of the match Pap FC got a corner. Lipochσrion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kyriakos Kalakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francis Murtopo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Melas in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pap FC's goalkeeper Francis Murtopo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francis Murtopo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Melas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Necat Baysal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francis Murtopo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Melas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Pap FC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Bougiouris. In the 60thth minute of the game Fotis Melas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pap FC's Francis Murtopo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Kalakos in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Markomichalis in the 69th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Pap FC's goalkeeper Francis Murtopo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necat Baysal. 74 minutes into the match, Pap FC's goalkeeper Francis Murtopo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fotis Melas. Pap FC's Edoardo Ragazzoni got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iraklis Akrivakis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. Pap FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrah Alatay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necat Baysal got free with Francis Murtopo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Necat Baysal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francis Murtopo. Necat Baysal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Kalakos in the 95th minute of play. The Lipochσrion FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
