Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save AEK KAVALAS FC from getting a goal against them. If Fotis Pegiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fotis Melas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panagiotis Kissas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Fotis Melas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Ilias Mavrokordatos in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AEK KAVALAS FC's Soulis Aggelakoglou. In the 20th minute, Odysseas Lazaroglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK KAVALAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Odysseas Lazaroglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Kissas was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AEK KAVALAS FC from getting a goal against them. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 32nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Emil Giurcă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Panagiotis Kissas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Melas in the 37th minute of play. Ilias Mavrokordatos got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fotis Melas. In the 43rd minute of the match, Aleksander Brzakala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stelios Melas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 44 minutes AEK KAVALAS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emrah Alatay who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Emrah Alatay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stelios Melas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half AEK KAVALAS FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Odysseas Lazaroglou made a kick off. Stelios Melas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Melas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the match, AEK KAVALAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Melas came free, but Stelios Melas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Ilias Mavrokordatos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Panagiotis Kissas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 64th minute. Thanos Agapoulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelios Melas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Lipochσrion FC's corner Emrah Alatay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stelios Melas quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Melas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelios Melas saved AEK KAVALAS FC from getting behind. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Stathis Aggelakos hit a great ball. A hard shot 78 in the game by Odysseas Lazaroglou from a close distance when the talented Panagiotis Kissas managed to make a qualified save. Lipochσrion FC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fotis Melas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelios Melas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panagiotis Kissas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Giurcă in the 88th minute. A collision led to AEK KAVALAS FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Federico Pich hit a great ball. When Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK KAVALAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Panagiotis Kissas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Poniewaz in the 95th minute. The AEK KAVALAS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AEK KAVALAS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
