After a defensive mix-up in Drafi's zone, Theofilos Bozidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Ntouvaris came out of the goal and Theofilos Bozidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manolis Ntouvaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Chatziioannou Stavrakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but meteora 1929's Soulis Vamvakousis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris got control of the ball when Clinton Eastwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Drafi's Soulis Felegakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Soulis Vamvakousis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Soulis Vamvakousis came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Drafi's Chatziioannou Stavrakos. But to his dismay, Chatziioannou Stavrakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Soulis Vamvakousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chatziioannou Stavrakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soulis Vamvakousis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Simon Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manolis Ntouvaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Fragou in the 44th minute of play. Chatziioannou Stavrakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soulis Vamvakousis having to interfere. Drafi made a substitution. Takis Chatzigiannis replaced Claudio Busillo. The meteora 1929 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drafi were winning 1-2.

Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Nelli in the 55th minute of play. Soulis Vamvakousis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chatziioannou Stavrakos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Drafi's Daniel Malinovský sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soulis Vamvakousis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Drafi's Cristian Botasso was substituted for Chatziioannou Stavrakos. The corner led Drafi's Thanos Kolokithopoulos to fire away a dangerous shot which Soulis Vamvakousis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Botasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soulis Vamvakousis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a little luck, meteora 1929's Soulis Vamvakousis got control of the ball when Cristian Botasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manolis Ntouvaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Nelli in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Drafi booed when meteora 1929 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Bittner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Botasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manolis Ntouvaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clinton Eastwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Soulis Felegakis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drafi. Cristian Botasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Soulis Vamvakousis made a huge save. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by meteora 1929's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thanos Kolokithopoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time Drafi's players had a chance to rest. Drafi's Thanos Kolokithopoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Soulis Vamvakousis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94th minute, Cristian Botasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Botasso in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soulis Vamvakousis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Drafi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than meteora 1929 throughout the match.
