The Lanzenkirchen fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Lanzenkirchen's Abel Alves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to SK Fenerbahce Wien getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Brecht Govaerts hit a great ball. When Roque Claus came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lanzenkirchen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Claus couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Freytag got free with Chris Draxl in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When SK Fenerbahce Wien's Brecht Govaerts, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SK Fenerbahce Wien. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bejger in the 22nd minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Chris Draxl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Bejger struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Chris Draxl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanzenkirchen. Tim-Florian Ramusch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SK Fenerbahce Wien's zone, Abel Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Draxl came out of the goal and Abel Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lu Jun Yin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Claus in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chris Draxl saved SK Fenerbahce Wien from getting behind. Chris Draxl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Alves in the 38th minute. Chris Draxl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Alves went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

Edvin Gernberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Lanzenkirchen were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SK Fenerbahce Wien's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Tolsson took the corner. Jakub Kornaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, SK Fenerbahce Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasyl Gladiy to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's Edgar Tolsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chris Draxl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas Wästerberg made a great header on SK Fenerbahce Wien's corner, it was just that Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute Roque Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Draxl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Jakub Kornaszewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chris Draxl was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Jakub Kornaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Illescas's late challenge caught a Lanzenkirchen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
