Adrian Meinhardt might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Adrian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Meinhardt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Plasczyk in the 3rd minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Adrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland in the 4th minute. Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Meinhardt in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Adib Ovi got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Adrian Meinhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arbing FSV - yougame.at's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Meinhardt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hubert Finken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Adrian made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Çağdaş Yuvakuran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ovidiu Adrian made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland sent off a good shot on target. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Finken, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland got free with Ovidiu Adrian in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Plasczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ovidiu Adrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Finken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Finken in the 50th minute of play. In the 56th minute Ovidiu Bal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Achteresch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Adrian Meinhardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Tiger De Hond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ovidiu Adrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Finken in the 75th minute of the match. Heiko Kalish kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sascha Kulovitz got free with Peter Achteresch in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Windscheif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Adrian having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Arbing FSV - yougame.at's goalkeeper Peter Achteresch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiger De Hond. 87 minutes into the match, Arbing FSV - yougame.at's goal looked a bit too open when Julien-Nils Trede came free, but Peter Achteresch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heiko Kalish fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Achteresch having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arbing FSV - yougame.at's Tobias Pfister got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Arbing FSV - yougame.at's Adrian Meinhardt suffered a concussion after 94 minutes and had to leave the field. 94 minutes into the game, Adib Ovi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poli Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arbing FSV - yougame.at the free kick. Arbing FSV - yougame.at made a substitution. David Hänsel replaced Adrian Meinhardt. In the 96th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adib Ovi to maneuver through the defense. The Poli Timisoara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poli Timisoara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
