Thomas Sørensen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Metodi Gadzhanov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. Johan Browall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Thomas Sørensen made a huge save. José Luis Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Thomas Sørensen made a huge save. The FC Grivata manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Каблешково to win.
