The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trendafil Tashevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eero Grönholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sandro Ormea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in DARAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Eero Grönholm placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 16th minute, Ildefonso Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Nenchev in the 20th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Bayındır Seyfullah got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Sørensen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antonio Dino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandro Ormea came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Dino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Arhangel Vergov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Ormea having to interfere. Eero Grönholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Sandro Ormea made a huge save. Sandro Ormea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trendafil Tashevski in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Eero Grönholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Ormea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Eero Grönholm sped through DARAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandro Ormea. Eero Grönholm came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Ormea could save by the left post. Sandro Ormea made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Eero Grönholm sent off a good shot on target. DARAS's Sandro Ormea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save DARAS from getting a goal against them. Slavey Kozovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Sandro Ormea made a huge save.

DARAS's Sandro Ormea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trendafil Tashevski in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Grönholm came free, but Sandro Ormea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Eero Grönholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Ormea. DARAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eero Grönholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Eero Grönholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Ormea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eero Grönholm in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Ormea saved DARAS from getting behind. DARAS's Sandro Ormea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trendafil Tashevski in the 61st minute of play. DARAS's Roger Milla was substituted for Ildefonso Frascuelo. Dragan Mangezov charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragan Mangezov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Mangezov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trendafil Tashevski in the 76th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Sandro Ormea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Ormea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trendafil Tashevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Eero Grönholm notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of DARAS's Sandro Ormea. Sandro Ormea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute Eero Grönholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Ormea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Sørensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Trendafil Tashevski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Grivata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
