After 7 minutes of play, FC Zhelezna's Gilberto Garaile made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Bale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 11 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Bingen. Milyo Gelovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Blasi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Milyo Gelovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Di Kun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 31st minute, Di Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Bale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Garaile went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's Gilberto Garaile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Bale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Gilberto Garaile heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gilberto Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Christian Bale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Bale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Garaile in the 43rd minute of play. Milyo Gelovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Blasi in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Gilberto Garaile made the kick off in the second half. If Sven-Erik Wallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Bale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Garaile in the 60th minute of the match. Christian Bale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Toshko Yahlev hit a great ball. FC Zhelezna made a substitution. Stanoy Zhelyazkov replaced Toshko Yahlev. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Velyo Vidolov was substituted for Ognyan Filipov. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Paul Romeo was substituted for Moises Blasi. Christian Bale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Wallander in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pavel Pranchev who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Zhelezna's Pavel Pranchev to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Bale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christian Bale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Wallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Benigno Bingen's late challenge caught a FC Zhelezna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Bingen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Zhelezna booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Garaile's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bale was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Gilberto Garaile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zhelezna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Christian Bale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Wallander in the 87th minute of play. Gilberto Garaile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Bale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Gilberto Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Garaile in the 92nd minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Christian Bale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Zhelezna were victorious despite being under pressure from Botev Plovdiv 1912 for much of the match.
