In the 3rd play minute Ignacio Alvarez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yanko Milakiev. 1-0. Yanko Milakiev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Slavyan Mechkuev might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanko Milakiev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Slavyan Mechkuev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Afonsinho Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nedyalko Dobrilov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andoni Zubizarreta. GARGOYLES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Institute's Yanko Milakiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valko Nanyov in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Valko Nanyov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanko Milakiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The Institute's Yanko Milakiev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save The Institute from getting a goal against them. Valko Nanyovs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Yanko Milakiev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Ignacio Alvarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Yanko Milakiev however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in The Institute's zone, 李永乐 Appleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal and 李永乐 Appleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valko Nanyov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Yanko Milakiev made a huge save. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov. But to his dismay, Valko Nanyov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Yanko Milakiev made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Slavyan Mechkuev sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, The Institute's Vitko Shalamanov got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ignacio Alvarez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yanko Milakiev. The Institute's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanko Milakiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Ignacio Alvarez sped through The Institute's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yanko Milakiev. After having played for 75 minutes, Ignacio Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARGOYLES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yanko Milakiev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yanko Milakiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valko Nanyov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yanko Milakiev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Alvarez went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. GARGOYLES were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after The Institute's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacio Alvarez took the corner. After 88 minutes of play, GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yanko Milakiev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yanko Milakiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Vitko Shalamanov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Vitko Shalamanov hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov. But to his dismay, Valko Nanyov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0.
