In the 2nd match minute, The Institute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valcho Kasavetov to maneuver through the defense. Yanko Milakiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paun Pastuhov in the 4th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Stoimen Glavchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toshko Moldovanov. Gonzo Goal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stoimen Glavchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Avgustin Pekin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanko Milakiev. Avgustin Pekin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Stoimen Glavchev fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Institute's protests and gave Stoimen Glavchev a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Institute's Stoimen Glavchev got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ivaylo Kyulumov kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Ivaylo Kyulumov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, The Institute's Rusi Zabunov got a free kick in the 35th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Gonzo Goal's goal looked a bit too open when Subin Kamberski came free, but Toshko Moldovanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Avgustin Pekin made the kick off in the second half. Toshko Moldovanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stoimen Glavchev went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 55 minutes, Avgustin Pekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonzo Goal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avgustin Pekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stoimen Glavchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Toshko Moldovanov made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avgustin Pekin in the 68th minute of play forced The Institute's goalkeeper Yanko Milakiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Institute's Stoimen Glavchev got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of The Institute booed when Gonzo Goal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivaylo Kyulumov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When The Institute's Subin Kamberski in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Goal's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mito Balyuchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Goal's supporters rose to their feet, but Mito Balyuchev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanko Milakiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, The Institute's goal looked a bit too open when Paun Pastuhov came free, but Yanko Milakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valcho Kasavetov hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Gonzo Goal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Institute's performance. The match ended with a win for The Institute.
