The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keilor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobri Zhablenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. FC Kyustendil's Keilor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobri Zhablenski in the 7th minute of play. Exequiel Zeballos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Exequiel Zeballos in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keilor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, FC Builder Sofia's Yulian Ivanov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Exequiel Zeballos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keilor Navas having to make a save. FC Kyustendil's Keilor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yulian Ivanov in the 20th minute of play. Keilor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yulian Ivanov in the 28th minute of the match. Exequiel Zeballos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keilor Navas having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Exequiel Zeballos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The corner led FC Builder Sofia's Geraldo Souza to fire away a dangerous shot which Keilor Navas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Builder Sofia's Sten Askestät got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Builder Sofia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Kyustendil for a fine match.
