CSKA-LULIN were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niklas Örnberg took the corner. Thanks to some nice moves Severo Danel could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Lilko Timov however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferran Torres in the 17th minute of play forced CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Vitomir Starokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ding Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Qiao Qing Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qiao Qing Ying couldn't finish the play. Severo Danel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Lilko Timov made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Jacinto to strike the kick off in the second half. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
