VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosta Kúnov in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Danny Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delyan Súrnev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VN FC Spartak-Varna's zone, Velichko Shindarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delyan Súrnev came out of the goal and Zbigniew Paraszczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Laziali's Veliko Stefchov got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Danny Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delyan Súrnev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hristofor Ikonomov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yancho Motev charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yancho Motev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Laziali booed when VN FC Spartak-Varna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yancho Motev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darin Gladichev in the 40th minute of the match. Hristofor Ikonomov hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Danny Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Delyan Súrnev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Velichko Shindarov made a precise shot to the right of Hans Curtis. VN FC Spartak-Varna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The attack was good, but when Darin Gladichev in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Ademar Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delyan Súrnev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Paraszczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 75 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's Zbigniew Paraszczuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delyan Súrnev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Ademar Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro da Silva in the 78th minute of play forced VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Ramiro da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hans Curtis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans Curtis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Rix in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laziali had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
